This is the website of the River City Concert Band of Memphis, Tennessee. Throughout this site, we hope to share information about our group. Whether you are interested in joining our organization, or you enjoy the live band sound, we have something to offer everyone. We encourage your comments. From the very beginning, the organization has had two missions: to offer a performing outlet for local professional and nonprofessional musicians, and to provide high-caliber, low-cost concerts for diverse audiences at a broad spectrum of events.
Primary funding for the River City Concert Band is derived from performance fees. Arts Memphisl subsidizes the Band’s budget via an annual grant.
